E.H.P. Standard Tubing is made from a highly texturized form
of silica. It is especially designed to withstand temperatures
up to 2000 degrees F. The tubing does not contain any wire
inserts and has good chemical resistance. Its low thermal
conductivity and thermal shock resistance make it ideal for
insulating fuel and brake lines, choke stove tubes, electrical
wiring, hydraulic lines and hoses.
The tubing is available in 1000 degrees F. and 2000 degrees
F. grades. Inside diameters are available from 1/16 inch through
3 inch in various wall thicknesses. The tubing does stretch
to slightly larger diameter and stays tight when applied.
