E.H.P. Wet Blankets incorporate an inorganic bonding agent to form a very pliable product that can be molded to conform to any irregular surface or contour. When cured, it hardens, allowing it to be sawed, cut, or sanded, and is usable in temperatures to 3200 degrees Farenheit*. Heat can be cut down anywhere from 50 to 75%. The E.H.P. Wet Blankets have been widely used for exhaust systems, turbo charger applications, and anyplace that heat needs to be retained within its source.
It is supplied wet in a sealed bag. It should be stored in a cool place and kept from freezing. E.H. P. Wet Blankets are normally furnished 1/4″ thick. Blankets may be furnished to your specified length and width. Complete instructions are included.
The standard kit is 1/4″ thick by 8″ by 24″ and includes three stainless steel bands. We also offer a large piece that you can cut to your desired size. The bulk sheet is 1/4″ thick by 24″ by 36″ with no bands. It is easily cut with scissors or a sharp knife.
